Hi you all: We were camping at Clark's Fork for the last week so I have been catching up on your blog and looking at the beautiful and also unique pictures you have attached. It sounds and looks like you are have a great time even w/mashing cans and long bus rides. I would think you would rather ride the bus than drive all the extra miles. I would think, however, that a lot of driving and even riding can be tiring even w/all the very interesting things and places you are seeing.
While we were camping Jim started the RV up as he always does every couple of days. He discovered she had a leak somewhere around or from the radiator, so we had it towed to Sonora for repair. The reason for Sonora is we have special towing ins. that will only pay to the nearest facility that is able to repair a RV.
It has really been hot around here, but I imagine your family has already informed you of that. Believe it or not in May we had central A/C and heat installed, so this is the best summer since we were young people out in the heat at lakes and riding motorcycles. We've only been here 51 years!!
Sounds like you may not be too far from completing your wonderful trip to Alaska. Jim still would like an Alaskan Cruise one of these days. We will see!
Guess I will sign off for now. Continue to have the great time you have posted.
I worked for Stanislaus Co Sheriff's Dept for 27 years. Margaret worked for the US Post Office for 30 years, the last 10 as Postmaster in Farmington, CA 95230
